As a trained, optioned screenwriter, Katie punches up scripts, helps develop the creative story, writes spec scripts, and coaches on screenwriting. Katie studied with Chris Devore (The Elephant Man) and attended the Advanced Screenwriting Program at Santa Fe University of Art and Design. Her script “Son of Rock” with writing partner, Dan Lougheed, recently made the semifinals in Final Draft’s Big Break contest.
Coaching for Writers
Katie utilizes a write-from-the-core technique to help writers exercise their writing muscle and create authentic, emotionally-charged content. She works with beginners to advanced writers in any creative genre. (Coaching packages are currently selling out and are subject to availability.)

BIO: Katie Love began her comedy career at the famed Holy City Zoo in San Francisco where she performed for two drunks in the wee hours of the ´morn. Now several years later (with no visible signs of aging), Katie performs at such venues as The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory, and Flappers. She is the co-creator, producer and host of Laugh Gallery, the comedy division of Crewest Studio. Katie is a former Los Angeles Times writer and the author of the novel, “Cubicide,” and the forthcoming memoir, “Two Tickets to Paradise, from Cult to Comedy,” set to drop summer/fall 2022 by Crewest Studio. Katie resides in Los Angeles with a 20lb cat and no regrets.
